Last month, we learned of a cholera outbreak among the children at Life Christian Orphanage in Haiti. Thankfully, with the support of our generous donors, we were able to control the spread and treat the children who were affected by sending a medical team and bringing supplies.
This is one further example of the many challenges facing the children of Haiti – but it also shows how coming together we can bring hope. Since the 2010 earthquake, Headwaters Relief Organization has partnered with several schools and orphanages to provide food, clothing, health and school supplies.
In July, our volunteers will be heading back to Haiti to bring these much needed supplies and we need your help! We are currently in need of raising $6,000 to purchase these supplies that are essential to our outreach efforts for these children in need.
