We love hearing from those we’ve helped on our relief trips! Here are a few wonderful comments we’re received:

“What a wonderful team of volunteers.  6 young people.  Such willing and ambitious people. How lucky we are to have them willing to do this for us.  Thank you so much for having this for us. AN 87 Yr old who much appreciated this!!!” – Viva Bowen, New Ulm, Minnesota

“This is Betty Young from Boulder, Colorado.  You and your wonderful team of folks came to Bob’s and my home up Lefthand Canyon last August and performed, what seemed to us, miracles and wonders!

We want to let you know your visit was a true Godsend.  The amount of physical change you all performed at our home was outstanding.  We were astounded at what was accomplished in a few short hours.  And, the spirit in which it was performed was amazing.  In short, your visit was a huge blessing to us and a gift we will remember and extol to others for the rest of our lives.  When we think of the devastation left behind by the flood of 2013 it will be trumped by memories of, unknown to us then, friends from Minnesota who came purely out of the kindness of their hearts to help put our lives back into the first steps of a semblance of order.  Please accept and pass on to all of your team our deep thanks for the kindness you showed to perfect strangers in a true time of need.

I also would ask a favor.  I had such a great time getting to know so many of your team.  But, I am afraid, I have forgotten names.  One wonderful lady talked of having a yarn shop and sending yarn to me to make hats for my grandsons.  And, she actually sent it!  It is absolutely beautiful!  I am getting ready to start my fun project and am wondering if you can pass my thanks on to her and let her know I will “knit her” into those hats so she will be a part of keeping my kiddos warm and cuddly in the months ahead.

We probably will not be back into our house until mid summer, but we extend an invitation to one and all of our friends to come visit us whenever you are in our area.  Our door is always open to our Minnesota Angels.”

Blessings, Betty  Boulder County, Colorado
