DelRae Messer: Solving Problems, Serving Others

Dr. DelRae Messer uses her talents work hard, elevate others and make an impact! Recently, Messer put her drive and energy to work helping Headwaters Relief Disaster raise money to create a new addition to our Children’s book collection. The newest book will address the mental health challenges experienced by victims of sex trafficking. DelaRae is passionate about creating a new path for these women and knows the first step is addressing mental health.

Dr. DelRae Messer, DC is CEO of Free Life Global, a global health and wellness company committed to helping people transform their lives through nutrition solutions. She graduated magna cum laude from Northwestern Health Sciences University in 2007. Her passion for solving the health care crisis started as a young athlete in a rural farming community in North Dakota. After creating a sustainable lifestyle weight loss program in her Chiropractic office, she moved her business online, to coach clients and health care professionals with the ability to deign her work around her two girls, McKenna 16 and Gianna 6. As a single Mom, she is passionate about helping women in social impact entrepreneurship, sustainable agriculture, volunteerism, environmental impact and has created a platform to fundraise for non-profits through experience driven events. Her current projects include school gardens, vertical growing systems, promoting positive mental health through contribution and creating a team of servant leaders, who want to make a difference.

She has created a fundraising opportunity for Headwaters by creating experience driven events that add value to attendees looking for growth both personally and professionally in the health and wellness space. She hosted an event called 21st century marketing for women where she invited speakers to share their success stories as female entrepreneurs, aligned with local businesses like Isagenix nutrition solutions for breakfast and happy hour snacks, Crisp & Green for lunch, War Paint International for a lipstick bar, DryBar for hair blowouts and style to create experiences for women attendees. She kicked off the event with a give back experience at Feed My Starving Children and a group workout experience at Basecamp North Loop Minneapolis. Her event raised $5000 and all proceeds were donated to Headwaters to create books that address the mental health challenges experienced by victims of sex trafficking. She is passionate about creating a new path for these women and knows the first step is addressing mental health.

We are so grateful for all of our volunteers and donors. This important work would not be possible if it weren’t for you!
